The first band I will talk about today is an alternative/sleaze rock trio from Toronto called "Die Mannequin."

They have released two EPS, one in 2006 and one in 2007. I picked up the one made in 2007, entitled "Slaughter Daughter." I thought it was great, they've got great energy and the singer's cute to boot. Wow, that ryhmed...how cheesy.

Alright, moving on.

Second band I want to tell you guys about is an American alternative rock band, Armor For Sleep. Yes.

Their songs are extremely catchy, honestly, watch out for those guitar riffs, they will get stuck in your head. The music tells a story of this character who commits suicide, and all the events, feelings and emotions he experiences as a ghost. The lyrics of "Car Underwater," the first song from their 2005 CD "What To Do When You Are Dead" show that this was due to a strained relationship with a significant other. I personally, liked the story very much. I thought all the feelings were really real...reading the lyrics was like reading an actual book. Quite cool. They have a new one that got released in 2007, I have yet to check that out but that should be great too. They also have a CD from 2003, "Dream To Make Believe." Cute singer as well! ^.^

Moving on. Now the next genre is something I'm not getting to into.

Gothic-doom metal, according to Wikkipedia. The band is called "Type O Negative." The themes of their lyrics are usually sex, romance, depression, and death. WOO! Anyway, I haven't gotten too into it, but some of their songs are catchy and pretty unique to me. Check it out!

Apparently Peter Steele [singer] is qutie contreversal and dealing with a lot of hard times, not getting into it though. Sorry for lack of music, I've only heard a few songs and this remains my favourite...the reason I will not put up any more suggestions is because some of the music gets a bit...crazy. Lyrics wise. And now to be serious. I am quite impressed with Gerard's acheivement since I have gotten the impression from several people that getting off drugs and alcohol is awefully hard, so obviously it must be. I wouldn't know how hard it is, seeing I've never been in such a position.

I still can't believe it's been three years! It's amazing he's gone this far! And now that's hes been off them, he's become greater than he ever imagined. In a fairly recent Rock Sound interview, it was stated that in the past Gerard could not picture himself at 30 and look at him now! He says he can picture himself in his 40s and 50s! And possibly beyond those years!

I really think getting off the drugs and alcohol really changed his outlook on life and it made him a better, wiser and stronger person. As a big fan of My Chem and supporter of Gerard being clean and sober, I congratulate him for making it to three years! You're incredible Gerard, and you should know it!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Happy birthday Grandma Elena =)

[Time period is two weeks after Sakura's funeral in Konoha]

-Naruto Uzumaki-

The scorching sunlight assaulted his face as he walked the crowded streets of Konoha. Children were laughing and playing tag while the adults complained about the heat and kept a watching eye on the game. Things seemed to be back to normal once again.

Naruto slowly approached the door of his friend's apartment room and knocked gently. Nervousy pulled at his insides as the door finally opened. "Um, hi..." he muttered. The raven-haired boy that stood before him was not a pretty sight. His hair was flat and dull, like his expression, and from the look of it he hadn't showered in a while. Dark circles surrounded his eyes. "Can I come inside?" Naruto asked quietly. Sasuke hesitated, but gave a curt nod and stepped aside so Naruto could come in.

After two weeks of trying to talk to or even see Sasuke, Naruto was relieved to be with him at last. Naruto sat awkwardly on the couch, not sure where to start. It seemed that light years passed by until Sasuke stood up and asked Naruto if he wanted something to drink. The sound of his voice gave Naruto hope. At least he said something. "Sure..." "What would you like?" "...Anything is fine" "Coke?" "Sure"

Sasuke silently poured Naruto a glass of coke and set it down on the table infront of him. "Thank you" the blonde said, taking a sip of his drink. Minutes passed without anything being said. Naruto finally cleared his throat and mustered up his courage. "Sasuke...How are you holding up?" he questioned nervously. Sasuke was quiet for a moment, but he finally looked at Naruto and said he was holding up fine.

A heavy sigh formed on Naruto's lips. "Sasuke, you don't look so great" he continued. Sasuke frowned. "What are you saying?" he asked, his tone low. "I'm saying you haven't been taking care of youself" he explained, taking another sip. "I'm fine, Uzumaki. Now drop it" he growled. "Don't lie to me, Sasuke! I know you too well to believe that bullshit!" Naruto yelled, asking for trouble. Anger was clearly shown on Sasuke's handsome face. "Screw you, Uzumaki!" he roared. Naruto was started by the venomous tone in Sasuke's voice.

Suddenly, a piercing wail sounded from the bedroom. Sasuke cursed under his breath and stormed out of the room to tend to the infant. "Shh...don't cry..." he tried lamely. The baby only cried more. "Damnit, stop that!" he exclaimed. Naruto easily found the bedroom and told Sasuke to move aside. "No, she's my kid! I can take care of her!" he howled, batting Naruto away. Naruto glared and protested more, only to be stubbornly rejected again and again. "Sasuke, you're not making things any better! Just let me try!" he yelled above the shrieks of the baby.

"You won't dare touch her!" he replied. Naruto shook his head and shoved Sasuke hard enough for him to loose his balance and fall back. Naruto made a grab for the baby and started to rock her. Outraged, Sasuke got back up on his feet and was about to take the baby from Naruto when her shrieking stopped. Naruto ran his fingers gently in circles over the baby's belly and whispered soothingly to her. Sasuke watched surprised as Naruto slowly but surely calmed her down until she closed her eyes and fell asleep. Naruto carefully laid her in the crib and looked to Sasuke.

"I told you to give me a chance" Naruto said, grinning victoriously [is that a word?]

Sasuke just glared. "Get out" he ordered. "Sasuke, c'mon. I was only trying to help-" "Get out!" he repeated, interupting Naruto's reply. Naruto ignored him. "I could help you with all of this, no one said you had to do it alone!" he offered. "Just get out of my sight!" he exclaimed. Naruto mentally kicked himself as he turned and left the raven-haired boy behind.

Yeah, it was short but I ran out of ideas. I hope I did okay. Comments/buzz?

Naruto Word Dictionary:

Chidori - This jutsu channels a large amount of chakra into the user's arm. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible to the naked eye. The technique actually alters the nature of the user's chakra, effectively converting it into electricity. As a side effect of the conversion process, the large amount of chakra, and the speed at which the user moves, this technique makes a loud noise similar to many birds chirping, hence the name (if the user is not in motion, it merely makes an electric crackling sound). Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and stabs their enemy with it. The amount of thrust combined with the large concentration of chakra allows the user to stab through almost anything; as such it is usually fatal to the enemy. -Third Person's POV-

Everything happened so fast. As soon as Sakura's eyes closed, her chest became motionless and he knew he had to get revenge. All his life he wanted to avenge his clan, but now there was much more to avenge. The raven-haired boy gathered up all the chakra into his fist. The power was overwhelming, even to him. So overwhelming the boy could feel his hand burning and the pain was spreading up his arm as well. "CHIDORI!" the scream ripped from his mouth as he stabbed the man he had felt so much hatred for ever since that day he masacred [sp?] his clan.

The man showed no emotion in his eyes as he stared back at the boy who had just penetrated him. "This...this if for her" he growled, his fingers wrapping around the katana. He pulled the katana, which was dripping with Sakura's blood, out of her body and stabbed it as hard as he could into the man. "ITACHI!" he screamed. Itachi's eyes remained as they always did as the pierced back into the boy's. "Itachi! Why must you do this to me? Just when I thought you took everything you could possibly take from me, you take more!" Sasuke howled. He pushed it even farther into his body, and Itachi sputtered. The most beautiful ruby-red blood was pouring generously out of Itachi's deep wound.

"You could at least say something!" spat Sasuke, gritting his teeth. "Foolish...little brother...." Itachi muttered famously. Tears started to form in Sasuke's eyes, and he again found himself fighting them from coming down. Itachi smiled a sick twisted smile. Sasuke's eyes widened as haunting memories re-played over and over in his mind. Itachi brought his head closer to Sasuke's so he could hear his last words. "You've grown strong enough to kill me Sasuke, don't ruin it by crying on me" he whispered, barely audible. Sasuke's eyes shut and his gritted teeth could be seen. Itachi eyes started to close. "Itachi! Don't die on me! I still want answers!" Sasuke screamed, his voice cracking. Itachi's mouth still hinted the smile. "Itachi!" Sasuke exclaimed, shaking him. It was no use though, he was dead. He had always imagined he'd feel euphoria when he could live to see his brother's last gasping breath, especially by knowing that he was the one who had taken his life. The katana dug deeper and deeper, until the end came out of Itachi's back.

Suddenly, Sasuke heard somebody burst through the doors and bolt down the hall. "SASUKE!" the familiar voice called. The footsteps aproached and Sasuke threw a side ways glance. Naruto, Ino, Shikamaru, Neji and Choji were running toward them. Ino's eyes wildly darted around the room and widened when they came to a stop on Sakura's limp body. "S...SAKURA!" she bellowed, sprinting over to the said girl's body. She immediatly collapsed to her knees infront when she reached Sakura and started to bawl. Neji looked from Sasuke to Itachi, getting the idea. Shikamaru and Choji walked over to Ino to try and comfort her and Naruto approached Sasuke slowly, trying to process everything that was infront of him. Sasuke realized he was still gripping his brother with the hand that wasn't tightened around the katana, so he let go and let his brother's body hit the floor.

"...Sasuke..." Naruto softly said. Sasuke's eyes were still on his brother's body.

Ino suddenly cried out of surprise. "...Holy shit..." Neji muttered when he saw what surprised her. "What?" Naruto exclaimed. "Come here, Uzumaki. And bring Sasuke as well...you guys need to see this" Choji ordered. Naruto obediantly followed, and a hesitant Sasuke slowly followed. There, lying beneath Sakura was the newborn. Ino's shaking hands carefully and gently scooped the newborn up and reached over to hand it to Sasuke. All eyes were on the new life Ino held in her soft and damp with tears hands. Sasuke's bloody and strong hands, which were much bigger than Ino's, reached out to take the baby from her. When he finally got the baby in his hands, he held it closer to his body. His eyes were wide, staring down at the thing. His face was void of emotion, as usual but he wasn't void. He was completely numb. Numb with horror, shock, and sadness. Naruto choked back his tears as he watched Sasuke. He had never seen Sasuke like this. Never. "We...should go home..." Neji said quietly. Shikamaru lent Ino his hand to pull her up. Choji nodded in agreement with Neji. "Sasuke...you can carry her back to Konoha..." he muttered weakly. Without a word, Sasuke laid the baby down on the floor infront of him. He then reached out to Sakura and picked her up carefully. He secured one arm around her legs and her arms hung limply around his neck, her head resting on it. He bent over and scooped the newborn up with his free hand, making sure he had a good grip on it.

"Let's go" Shikamaru ordered sadly.
